I am a self taught fabric and mixed media artist and have been making art, in some form, for as long as I can remember. I am fairly new to collage and paper arts, but am totally hooked. The addition of collage to my teddy bear art is providing me with a way to combine my love for textiles and vintage ephemera.
I fuel my creative fires with antiquing/junking trips, where I collect anything that speaks to me of a hidden story. My current passion is vinatge photographs of children and old poetry books.
I am a retired Registered Nurse, mother of 3 grown children and "Nana" to my grandaughter (artist in training). I am happily married to my true soulmate, who supports me in all my artistic "ecstasy and agony."
